Bill WALKER 1916-1995

 

Las Cruces, NM

 

Bill WALKER, 79, of Las Cruces, NM passed away on Thursday, March 30, 1995 at Las Cruces Nursing Center.

Mr. WALKER was born in Harrison County, TX on January 16, 1916 to his parents Alton Edgar WALKER and Mary Eula (WATSON) WALKER. He was a farmer in the Mesilla Valley for over sixty-five years doing custom farm work. He also farmed in Animas for ten years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Mr. WALKER is survived by his wife, Hazel, of the family home; his children, Gale WALKER, of Las Cruces and Nancy FINLEY, of Pinos Altos, NM; his grandchildren, Devonis FINLEY, Shevone JENKINS and Darell WALKER; three great grandchildren; and his sister Pearl MEDLIN of Modesto, CA.

Visitation is at Graham Mortuary, Graveside services will be Saturday, April 1, 1995 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Willis DEERMAN officiating.
