"I, Isaac Walker, of the County of Grayson, and State of Texas, being of sound mind and in feeble health, but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows, to wit: 1st I will and devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Alitha, two hundred acres of the tract of land on which I reside, including the residence and all improvements to hold and use as her own, during her natural life, and at her death to be sold and the proceeds to be equally divided among my lawful heirs. I also will devise and bequeath to her, my said wife six cows and calves to be chosen by herself out of my stock and the entire growing crop on my farm together with all provisions on hand, farming utensils. 2nd I will and direct that the balance of my property, both real and personal be sold at public auction on a credit of 12 months, and having given notice of said sale according to law and it is my will and desire that the proceeds of said sale be equally divided among my children, share and share alike, and I further direct that the shares of my minor children shall be loaned at intrest until they arrive at mature age. Respectfully I furhter direct that all my just debts be paid first out of proceeds of said last mentioned sale before any division of the same is made. In addition to the last item above, I will and devise that my executors take out $200 of the proceeds of said sale of real and personal property, before said division is made and appropriate the same to the education of my sons Jesse and William, and on said division as above provided, the same to be included and deducted from their respective shares equally and in addition to this appropriation for the education of William, I desire that a part of the intrest accruing from his dividend be applied to his education.

Lastly I do hereby appoint William A Garrison my Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal this 14th day of feb. Isaac B Walker

* According to an oath sworn april 19th, 1850 that he and his family arrived in Texas prior to 1848 and claimed 640 acres of land.
